Job Description
The job duties of a medical esthetician may include performing skin assessments, developing customized treatment plans, performing procedures such as medical grade peels, botox, body contouring treatments, and other advanced procedures. They may also educate patients on proper practices to achieve maintain optimal results.
In addition to technical skills, a medical esthetician should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build a good rapport with patients and understand their concerns. They should also be knowledgeable about skin conditions and how to adapt treatments for patients with sensitive skin or allergies.

Responsibilities
- Perform client consultations to assess their skin type and conditions, and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare routines.
- Conduct skincare procedures, such as facials, medical grade peels, and other advanced treatments.
- Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any adverse reactions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, new treatments, and products to ensure the clinic provides the latest and most effective skincare services.
- Operate and maintain skincare equipment to ensure it is clean, safe, and functional.
- Provide aftercare instructions to clients and recommend follow-up appointments as necessary.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the clinic, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment and tools.
- Educate clients about the importance of skincare and provide recommendations for appropriate products for their skin type and condition.
- Maintain professional relationships with other staff members, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
